Wherever they go, the earthquake trembles, the smoke billows, and all kinds of small animals flee one after another. Brachiosaurus needed a lot of food to supplement its massive body with the energy it needed to grow and get around. Brachiosaurus can eat about 1,500 kilograms of food per day, which is 10 times the amount of Asian elephants. Paleontologists learned that the food intake of Brachiosaurus was more than 1 meter high by studying the fecal fossils left by Brachiosaurus hundreds of millions of years ago. Brachiosaurus probably traveled in packs every day, wandering the endless prairie in search of fresh trees.
